Intermittent schedule requiring availability for all shifts and some weekends. Provide care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and in accordance with federal, state, and VA regulations. Deliver assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide quality resident‑centered care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents. Responsibilities Deliver care within the RN scope of practice, complying with relevant regulations. Provide assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver quality resident‑centered care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support resident outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions and in good standing. If not currently licensed in Minnesota, must obtain licensure by date of hire. Future Registered Nurses within six months of graduation and NCLEX‑RN may apply. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to be certified by date of hire. Effective communication skills sufficient to provide and receive instructions and teach residents. Computer skills sufficient for electronic charting in PointClickCare. Additional Requirements Pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services background check when conducted on the finalist. Undergo a Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening or chest X‑ray prior to employment.
