About the Role:
Join ALWAYS PAVING INC as a Class A Truck Driver in Hayward, CA, where your driving skills will contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality paving services. Be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and excellence on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A trucks safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.
- Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of truck maintenance and safety practices.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
