Digital Accessibility Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Serving as the organization's subject matter expert, the remote Digital Accessibility Specialist will lead accessibility initiatives, conduct audits to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards, and promote inclusive design practices across digital products and services on a long-term contract basis. Key Responsibilities Lead accessibility evaluations of digital content and provide actionable remediation guidance Research and promote accessibility best practices while developing training materials and resources Support the establishment of accessibility standards and governance processes within project teams Required Qualifications Strong experience with digital accessibility, usability, and user experience principles Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 A & AA standards and related compliance requirements Hands-on experience performing accessibility audits using various testing tools Ability to analyze complex information and develop practical solutions for accessibility issues Experience facilitating discussions and collaborating with cross-functional teams
