COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Communications Coordinator The Dolores Huerta Foundation is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support digital communications, media relations, and development communications. This role plays a key part in advancing DHF's organizing, advocacy, and fundraising efforts through coordinated messaging, media engagement, and digital outreach. Key Responsibilities Coordinate social media, email, and website content and campaigns Serve as the initial point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests Prioritize and coordinate approved interviews and communicate professional rejections as needed Build and maintain email campaigns and digital content calendars Support CRM maintenance, segmentation, and data integrity Assist with donor and fundraising communications Create and edit multimedia content, including short-form video Track and report on digital engagement and campaign performance Qualifications 2+ years experience in communications, digital media, or nonprofit communications Strong writing, organizational, and time-management skills Experience with email platforms, social media, and CRM systems Familiarity with media relations workflows Basic video editing and design skills preferred Commitment to social justice and community-based work Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Compensation $24.00 $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
