As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor badges, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, access control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, visitor logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
