Location: Los Angeles, CA, USA

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
Pay: $42–$52 per hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Overview
A national union academic and workforce training center is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Instructor to teach a 12-week, hands-on program focused on generative AI, creative technology, and AI-assisted media production. The instructor will develop and deliver engaging in-person lessons for students and working professionals across construction, engineering, electrical, and building-management industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 12-week course syllabus
- Teach practical generative AI and creative-production workflows
- Lead classroom demonstrations, workshops, and project critiques
- Mentor students and provide actionable feedback
- Explain technical concepts in an accessible way
- Cover ethical, legal, and professional considerations involving AI-generated content
- Collaborate with program leadership to maintain curriculum quality
Required Qualifications
- Professional teaching, training, or instructional experience
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and workflows
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to teach both creative concepts and technical processes
- Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles
Preferred Experience
- ComfyUI, Flux, LoRA training, ChatGPT, Gemini, Veo, Luma, Seedance, or similar platforms
- Generative image and video workflows
- Photoshop, Premiere, Nuke, After Effects, or Fusion
- AI-assisted storytelling, visual development, or media production
- Engineering Technology, construction, engineering, or related industry exposure
