About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at Pratt Industries, you'll be a key player in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility. You'll maintain and repair the machinery that turns recycled paper into corrugated boxes used in everyday products from pizzas at Domino's to Amazon deliveries and moving supplies from Home Depot!

What We're Looking For

• Required Skills :

  • Troubleshooting of 3-Phase power/electricity
  • AC/DC Motors and Motor Starters
  • Gearboxes/Gear Reducers
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs & VFDs
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatic Systems

• Bonus Skills/Experience :

  • Experience with electrical instrumentation
  • Ability to troubleshoot logic controllers/VFDs online
  • Knowledge of Boiler/Steam systems
  • Welding/Fabrication skills
  • Conduit Bending & Machining (Lathe, Mill, Press, etc.)
  • Industrial Safety experience

What's the Work Environment Like?

• Physical Demands :

  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, and the occasional crawling or kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision, color vision, and depth perception

• Mathematical Skills :

  • Ability to read a tape measure and apply basic high school-level math

• Reasoning Ability :

  • Ability to follow written, oral, or graphic instructions and apply common-sense reasoning

• Must-Haves :

  • A set of screwdrivers, wrench sets (Metric & Standard), socket sets, hammers, and more
  • High-quality tools from brands like Craftsman, Gearwrench, and Channellock

• Nice-to-Haves :

  • Pipe wrenches, tap & die sets, welding gloves & helmet, machinist tools, and more
