Hourly Rate $14.50

Responsibilities

The Cashier is responsible for ensuring professional, accurate transactions with customers.

1. Ring in customer transactions
2. Deal with customers in a courteous and professional manner
3. Lend out money as necessary and manage petty cash
4. Accurately handle invoices and ensure that drivers mark bills as "Paid"
5. Account for cash/credit/check transactions
6. Work with countermen and store managers to keep them aware of issues with customers
7. Locate missing funds if there is a problem with the register balance
8. Will be assigned other duties as needed
9. Maintain and promote workplace safety
10. Securing and transferring cash or other assets.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience
• Experience handling cash preferred
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred
