About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: Ongoing Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 10 or 12 hours Experience: 3+ years in specialty License: Valid driver's license Certifications: AHA BLS, ARDMS RDMS Must-Have: Proficiency in general Ultrasound, Small parts, Vascular, Client, and Pediatric Ultrasound Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform inpatient and outpatient ultrasound examinations. Candidates must be comfortable floating between multiple sites. The technician should be proficient in general ultrasound, small parts, vascular studies for both lower and upper extremities, Client including fetal surveys during all trimesters, and some pediatric procedures such as hips, spine, head, pylorus, and intussusception. Rotating weekends and holidays are required. Candidates must possess an up-to-date resume and provide two recent references in matching specialty. A skills checklist matching the specialty is also required. A flu vaccine is required during the season. Experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC, is preferred.
