The Role

Under the direction of the section lead, you'll perform final assembly, finishing, and quality inspection activities for custom industrial products. This role is critical to ensure every product leaving our facility meets Goff's quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and enjoys identifying and resolving quality issues before products are shipped.

What You’ll Do

• Complete final assembly and finishing tasks according to work instructions and specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality, appearance, functionality, and compliance with customer requirements
• Verify measurements, materials, hardware, labels, and overall product accuracy
• Identify, document, and communicate defects or quality concerns to supervisors and team members
• Perform minor adjustments, touch-ups, or rework to ensure products meet quality standards
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, and inspection equipment as needed
• Complete quality control documentation and production records accurately
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist in meeting daily production goals

What We’re Looking For

You don't need previous quality inspection experience, but you do need a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. We welcome candidates with experience in:

• Manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
• Quality inspection or quality control processes
• Final assembly, finishing, or packaging operations
• Using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Reviewing products for defects and ensuring accuracy
• Any role requiring attention to detail and consistency

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and product specifications
• Comfortable using measuring tools accurately
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Able to commute to or relocate to Pewaukee, WI 53072 before start date
