Advanced Analytics Research Scientist - Industrial Agentic AI

Job Description We are looking for an AI engineer/scientist to help build the next generation of industrial agentic AI systems that transform how engineers design, operate, debug, and optimize automation systems. You will sit at the intersection of large language models, autonomous agents, industrial control systems, and real‑world operational intelligence. Responsibilities Develop agentic AI systems that assist with industrial software usage and workflow automation. Develop application development and code generation capabilities. Create debugging and root‑cause analysis tools for industrial control systems. Build operational optimization and decision support solutions. Build AI systems that can interact with engineering tools, automation platforms, digital twins, historians, and operational data sources. Design architectures that combine large language models (LLMs), tool‑using AI agents, retrieval and memory systems, reinforcement and adaptive learning approaches, and multimodal reasoning over text, code, logs, alarms, and operational signals. Enable AI systems to learn from real‑world interactions, operator feedback, and system outcomes. Collaborate with domain experts in automation, controls, robotics, and industrial operations to bring advanced AI capabilities into production environments. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Experience with generative AI / LLMs, agentic AI systems, reinforcement learning, and machine learning systems engineering. Industrial AI or cyber‑physical systems experience. Experience building AI‑enabled applications using modern frameworks and tooling. Software engineering skills in Python and modern AI ecosystems. Familiarity with orchestration frameworks, tool‑use architectures, memory systems, or autonomous AI workflows. Ability to work across disciplines and translate research concepts into deployable systems. Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to build AI systems that interact with the physical world. Knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, or control systems, digital twins and simulation environments, time‑series analytics and operational optimization, edge AI deployment, human‑AI collaboration systems, multi‑agent architectures, and vision‑language or multimodal models. Preferred Qualifications Experience with advanced multimodal reasoning and memory systems. Demonstrated success in deploying AI systems at industrial scale.
