City of Hope Medical Group is seeking a Physician Scientist for its Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism Department (DEM) at the National Medical Center campus in Duarte, CA. The role focuses on basic, translational, or clinical research in endocrine tumors or metabolism and the successful candidate will also become a member of the Beckman Research Institute and/or Diabetes and Metabolism Research Institute. The position offers protected academic time, a well‑equipped laboratory, generous startup funding, and a competitive compensation package ranging from $300,000 to $400,000. Qualifications Experience as a physician scientist with solid research training and excellent clinical skills. Experience working in an academic medical center that integrates both clinical and translational research for endocrine conditions. Demonstrated commitment to research evidenced by publications and presentations at national conferences. Academic record consistent with appointment as Associate Professor. M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree, fellowship trained, and Board certified/eligible in Endocrinology. Eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license.
