Senior/Lead Front End Engineer

DISYS is seeking a talented Senior/Lead Front End Engineer to join a leading Healthcare IT Solutions Group based in Oakland, California. Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our client provides remote medical interpreters to patient population to provide best-in-class care delivery along with phone interpreters and in-person interpreters.

Video Remote Interpreter solution enabled on iPad/PC/iPhone modalities as a dedicated patient care solution on mobile carts, sourced by a service provider for interpreter services.

The Product portfolio is focused on developing multiple products to enable the experience for physicians on mobile, an admin system to manage the service lifecycle, information dashboard for operations teams and integration with platforms for mobile and non-mobile users.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop and deploy reactive, dynamic web solution, both mobile and non-mobile platform for enabling and managing lifecycle of solution that helps deliver clinical care.
• Strong React, Node based development expected in microservices architecture framework using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Mobile App development opportunity for IOS.
• Work with Product Owner/Delivery Manager/Business Analysts to understand user stories, develop user solution mockups, user experience based on approved standards in agile workflow.
• Collaborate and interact with other core team and cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, unit test, and release.
• Developing across the full stack of Web technologies – Persistence, Services, Platform, Performances, and with a focus on great experiences
• Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new solution for web and native IOS platforms.
• Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience developing applications using latest Java, React, Node technologies.
• 3+ years of solid, hands-on experience with ReactJS/Redux & Typescript, Electron, JavaScript, REST API, SASS, Webpack, Node, Express, Docker, Docker-Compose, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, SOA, Jenkins, ECR
• Proficient in building Web User Interface (UI) using HTML, DHTML, table less XHTML, CSS and JavaScript that follows W3C Web Standards and are browser compatible.
• MSQL and MongoDB experience for leveraging and developing applications.
• Ability to consume REST APIs and Microservices. Development experience for secure REST APIs are nice to have.
• Converting user stories to UI/Front end user interaction flows with UX guidelines.
• Adapt and adopt corporate UX design guidelines and templates.
• Solid understanding of UI development including HTML/CSS, JQuery, and responsive design.
• Understanding of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBMMQ.
• 5+ Experience in event driven architecture and service orchestration, API management and secure, role-based solution development.
• Development using Docker EE and microservices.
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from a sole front end developer as part of full stack team.
• Experience in complete agile project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
