Full-Time | Company Driver | Current as of Sep 17, 2026 CDL Class B Driver Refrigerated Straight Truck | Home Daily | Chicagoland Description Full-Time | Company Driver | Current as of Sep 17, 2026 CDL Class B Driver Refrigerated Straight Truck | Home Daily | Chicagoland Starting pay $55,000+ Were hiring a Class B driver for local and regional refrigerated work out of the Chicago area You run a company refrigerated straight truck, youre home every night, and the pay starts at $55,000+ per year This is not OTR and not a tractor-trailer seat You drive a straight truck, run assigned local & short regional routes, keep product in temp, communicate with dispatch, and get home the same day Experience in Operating Reefer Straight Truck Requirements Valid Class B CDL (Class A welcome if you'll run this straight truck) Current DOT medical card Must pass pre-employment drug screen and Clearinghouse query Able to work early mornings and sit in Chicagoland traffic Live in or near the Chicagoland area (we need someone who can get to the yard reliably) Straight-truck or comparable experience preferred; strong Class B candidates will be considered Air brake restriction removed if the truck has air brakes Pay and Benefits Starting earnings: $55,000+ per year Steady local/regional work - not "maybe you'll get miles" Weekly pay / direct deposit Overtime after 40 hours when the schedule requires it Home daily - you sleep in your own bed Local Chicagoland stops plus regional runs in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and nearby Midwest point Typical work week: Monday-Friday (weekend work only when freight requires it) Start times are early morning to hit receivers on time Company refrigerated straight truck (Class B) Temperature-controlled food / perishable freight NO TOUCH.You are responsible for pre-trip, reefer temp checks, and on-time delivery #J-18808-Ljbffr Truck Insure
