Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals and strategies. Utilize an array of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families. Facilitate regular psychoeducational and support groups through telehealth, providing patients with a sense of community and shared understanding in managing their mental health concerns. Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care, coordinating treatment strategies across disciplines. Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges, leveraging your skills to stabilize situations and connect them with appropriate resources. Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and tools for recovery. Maintain rigorous documentation and comply with ethical and legal standards, utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) system effectively to document patient interactions and treatment progress. Participate actively in case discussions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your expertise and contribute to team goals. Remain current on the latest mental health research and advancements to provide cutting-edge care to our clients. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidates will work with a diverse patient population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing an array of mental health challenges. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. A valid, unencumbered mental health counselor license (e.g., LPCC) in the state of California is required. Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques is essential. Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth mental health assessments, develop effective treatment plans, and provide both individual and group therapy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to empathize with patients and maintain professional boundaries. Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and computer applications effectively to document patient care. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage constructively within a multidisciplinary care team. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable. Experience providing therapy to multicultural populations and diverse communities. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT) would be an advantage. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
