QA - Automation (Remote)

Senior Associate QATalented, self-motivated Quality Assurance Engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This person would be responsible for designing and maintaining test suites and supporting overall application compliance, as well as writing and executing manual test cases as needed for areas of the application that cannot be automated. This individual will be responsible for planning, managing, maintaining, coordinating and executing the test suites and scripts for complex, multi-tier applications. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within collaborative teams.Qualifications2-5 years of hands-on experience with quality assuranceExperience with data testing/Integration and ETL TestingExperience with test automation tools (e.g. Client Quality Center, Quick Test Professional (QTP), WinRunner, Selenium) is desiredUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in agile / iterative SDLC environmentsAbility to excel in team-oriented environmentAbility to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote environmentConstantly seeks ways to improve processes for increased agility and qualityResponsibilities:Implement test plans within current guidelines by analyzing project requirement documents. Review project documentation for all assigned projects to ensure that the project requirements are clearly definedWork with applications/data processes and write test proceduresDesign, develop, test, maintain and execute scripts across different test environments for consistencyAbility to execute test cases manually (if needed) based on business requirementsWork with requirements teams to define test cases and maintain traceabilityReport defects and escalate issues as neededWork closely with software development team to reproduce and debug issuesMotivated team player, with very strong analytical, diagnostic and debugging skillsGood oral communication and writing skillsEducation:Bachelor's Degree from college or University Ecom Industries
