About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations and Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be the senior business operations leader, with a focus on financial stewardship and operational scalability. This executive will be responsible for overseeing finance, HR, IT, recruiting, legal, and operational governance, ensuring that the necessary systems, processes, and infrastructure are in place to support the company's growth. The role involves leading the financial close process, managing financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, and continuously improving financial systems and operational controls. Additionally, the VP will be involved in HR operations, IT governance, talent acquisition, and will play a key role in delivery enablement and operational excellence. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in finance, operations, or executive management within an IT professional services organization. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in project-based financial management, proven success in building and scaling operational infrastructure, and experience in managing both internal teams and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and a high degree of ownership, accountability, and integrity. Experience in a remote-first or distributed workforce environment is essential, and a background in consulting, professional services, or enterprise software is preferred.
