Role: The Head of Strategic Finance will act as a key partner to the executive team, driving financial planning, commercial insight, and long‑term growth strategy. This is a high‑impact leadership role combining strategic influence with hands‑on execution, with a clear pathway toward a future Chief Financial Officer position. Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term strategic planning. Develop and refine SaaS metrics and performance frameworks, including ARR, CAC, LTV, and other key unit economics. Support fundraising activities, investor relations, and preparation of board‑level reporting materials. Partner with go‑to‑market teams to optimise pricing strategies, sales efficiency, and revenue growth initiatives. Build and scale financial infrastructure, systems, and processes to support business growth. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to founders and senior leadership to inform decision‑making. Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Operate as a hands‑on leader in a fast‑paced environment, balancing day‑to‑day execution with long‑term strategic priorities. Requirements Proven experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate finance roles within high‑growth environments – ideally with 4–8 years of industry experience. Background in SaaS, AI, or technology‑driven businesses, with a strong understanding of recurring revenue models. Deep knowledge of financial and commercial metrics, including unit economics and performance analysis. Experience supporting fundraising, investor engagement, and board reporting processes. Strong foundational training in finance, ideally with prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or similar. Ability to operate effectively in a hands‑on, fast‑scaling, and ambiguous environment, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
