Job Location: AUSTIN, TX 78746 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Job Shift: Day Part Time or Full Time Availability The Registered Dietitian/Food Service Manager will be a dual role that provides nutrition expertise and oversees daily food service operations to ensure high‑quality, compliant, and cost‑effective meal services. This role conducts nutrition assessments, working directly with physicians and nursing staff, supports patient wellness, and leads kitchen staff to maintain safety, sanitation, and exceptional service standards. Collaboration with clinical teams and strong leadership skills are essential to supporting positive health outcomes and an excellent dining experience. Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related field. Experience in clinical nutrition, including assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Experience in food service management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow oversight Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, state health codes, food safety, sanitation(JACHO/DNV) Ability to manage menu planning, special diets, and therapeutic nutrition needs Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, and team development Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and cost‑control practices Proficiency with EMR systems (MedHost a plus).
