This role serves as a liaison between cruise lines, ports, vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure services are planned, communicated, and executed efficiently.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoBudgetary ResponsibilitiesNoJob ScopeN/APrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinates dry dock and reverse dry dock projects, including planning, logistics, documentation, cargo movement, communication, and project execution from initiation through completion. Manages related billing and accounts receivable activities Coordinates vessel provisioning activities throughout the region, including procurement support, cargo movement, scheduling, and delivery of provisions and related materials. Manages associated billing and accounts receivable processes. Prepares reports, maintains operational records, identifies process improvement opportunities, supports departmental initiatives, and assists with the development of new cruise service opportunities. Coordinates bookings and maintains all required shipping, transportation, and project documentation. Reviews, updates, and coordinates bond administration activities to support vessel movements and cruise service operations. Serves as liaison between cruise lines, freight forwarders, customers, ports, local agents, vendors, and internal departments by providing updates, coordinating activities, and assisting with operational issue resolution Perform all other related duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation (Minimum)Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Transportation, or a related field.Experience (custom)Three (3) years of experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, cruise operations, vessel operations, or related transportation activities. Prior experience supporting dry dock projects and vessel provisioning operations. LicenseValid Florida driver's license. Valid Passport.Travel5% travel to other Tropical locationsPhysicalOffice Environment - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer. Requires ability to observe jobs being performed; requires walking, and standing for several hours at time. Ability to bend or stoop to retrieve lower shelf files. Ability to reach overhead to retrieve upper shelf files. ability to sit 1/3 - 2/3 of day. Ability to travel in various modes of transportation (e.g. automobile, airplane, train etc..) Occasionally exposed to outside elements during the course of traveling.LanguageEnglishOther InformationSkills, Knowledge and AbilitiesKnowledge of cruise, vessel, shipping, and transportation operations. Understanding of cargo movement processes and vessel scheduling requirements. Familiarity with dry dock projects, provisioning operations, and vessel support services. Ability to prepare, review, verify, and maintain documentation with a high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of bond administration processes, including bond revisions, renewals, and compliance requirements. Strong billing and accounts receivable coordination experience. Ability to resolve billing discrepancies and coordinate freight corrections. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, vendors, cruise lines, freight forwarders, ports, local agents, and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with changing priorities.
