IT Digital Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Digital Lead PMO to support Digital IT initiatives, financial management, portfolio governance, and strategic transformation efforts. This individual will play a key role in managing IT investments, budgeting, forecasting, project portfolio governance, and executive reporting while driving continuous process improvements across the Digital IT organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT financial management, PMO governance, portfolio management, and executive-level reporting. This role will partner closely with business leaders, vendors, procurement, and IT leadership to ensure effective planning, governance, and execution of technology investments that support digital transformation strategy.

Responsibilities
Lead IT financial management activities including OPEX, CAPEX, forecasting, budgeting, spend tracking, and financial reporting.
Manage and govern the Digital IT project portfolio, including project intake, prioritization, approval processes, and portfolio health reporting.
Develop and maintain PMO governance frameworks, project management processes, and agile delivery standards.
Monitor project and portfolio performance through dashboards, KPIs, OKRs, executive scorecards, and reporting.
Partner with Procurement and vendors to manage contracts, financial performance, vendor relationships, and sourcing strategies.
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and modernize PMO operations.
Support annual planning and budgeting processes while ensuring compliance with approved budgets and project funding.
Create executive-level presentations, reports, and strategic roadmaps for IT leadership and business stakeholders.
Coach project managers, scrum masters, and IT leaders on project governance, portfolio management, and execution methodologies.
Develop strong relationships with business leaders to support digital transformation initiatives and technology investment strategies.
Analyze portfolio risks, resource allocation, project dependencies, and financial trends to support informed decision-making.
Promote innovation and best practices across Digital IT governance, reporting, and operational processes.

Qualifications
Required
7+ years of relevant IT, PMO, portfolio management, financial management, or leadership experience.
Strong experience with IT Financial Management & Reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, spend analysis, and financial reporting.
Experience managing IT Portfolio Governance, project intake, prioritization, project lifecycle management, and portfolio reporting.
Proven process improvement and digital transformation experience.
Strong executive reporting, KPI development, dashboard creation, and analytics experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience presenting to senior leadership and executives.
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
SAP user experience.
Power BI experience.
Experience with PMI, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.
Experience managing teams and developing staff.
Knowledge of cost accounting, ROI analysis, payback models, and financial planning concepts.
Experience working with vendor management, contract management, and procurement functions.
