Vaccine Customer Representative - Manhattan South, NY

Job Description The Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) supports customers by providing clinical information on our Company’s vaccines, as well as education and resources. They help customers with reimbursement information, contract adherence and help increase immunization rates among appropriate patients. Location & Travel Field‑based sales position covering Manhattan South, New York territory. Ideal residence within the territory. Travel varies based on candidate’s location. The Primary Activities Include Engage in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs with the Company’s vaccine attributes in accordance with product labeling, CDC and professional society recommendations. Provide Company Vaccine management updates on customer needs to improve patient health outcomes, customer feedback, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals. Provide customers with key insights by staying apprised of professional and health care environment knowledge through self‑study, workshops, conferences, and ongoing review of Company promotional materials. Use analytical skills and tools to engage customers in quarterly business reviews regarding their vaccine contract and educate them on maximizing contract performance across the Company portfolio. Assist customers with education to improve immunization rates through quality‑based programs such as Vaccine IQ. Monitor business performance against objectives using Company tools. Develop a territory‑level business plan focused on improving immunization rates with assigned customers in accordance with Company policies, standards, and ethics. Maintain product knowledge and certification on the entire Company vaccine portfolio and the CDC immunization schedule for pediatric and adult vaccines. Specifically Act as primary point of contact for select customer accounts, meeting with key personnel to understand practice structure, business model, and patient needs, identify opportunities, and provide information to stakeholders. Coordinate with the Company’s customer team to outline customer strategy aimed at improving immunization rates. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years Sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 6 years equivalent experience in sales, marketing, military or healthcare/scientific field not sales related. Strong ability to build trust with customers and demonstrate value in selling situations. Ability to segment customer population and allocate resources effectively. Understanding of customer business climate, market potential, opportunity prioritization, territory planning, and follow‑up. Understanding of interdependencies within an account and ability to build long‑term relationships through collaborative planning. Excellent technical communication skills. High tenacity to achieve measurable results and overcome setbacks. Strong pursuit of learning and applying new skills. Innovative use of technology and data analysis to drive results. Other Requirements Valid driver’s license. Preferred Skills/Experience Strong technical communication skills. Strong understanding of Marketing/Sales or Marketing/Sales Support Functions/Operations. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $106,200.00 – $167,200.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable. Benefits include medical, dental, vision healthcare and other insurance, retirement benefits (401(k)), paid holidays, vacation, compassionate and sick days. Work Arrangement Hybrid work model: Employees in office‑based positions will work three total days on‑site per week (Monday‑Thursday) with Friday remote, unless business critical tasks require on‑site presence. Field‑based positions are exempt from hybrid model.
