Meadowbrook Respiratory & Nursing Center in Matawan, NJ is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team. Meadowbrook is a 130-bed skilled nursing facility in the heart of Monmouth County, and we're not a typical nursing home — we run a dedicated ventilator unit with respiratory therapists on-site around the clock, along with specialized programs in neuro care, wound care, and cardiac rehab. Our campus was recently renovated top to bottom, with new amenities and updated technology throughout. For a Nurse Practitioner who wants complex, interesting clinical work in a physician-led setting, this is the place.

Prior nursing home experience is required for this Nurse Practitioner position.

We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner with at least 6 months of NP experience who is comfortable in a skilled nursing environment. Ventilator experience is a plus — our respiratory program is what sets us apart, and an NP with vent experience will feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care and ongoing medical management for residents in a skilled nursing / long-term care setting

• Perform assessments, manage chronic and acute conditions, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the physician team

• Round on residents, including those in our ventilator and respiratory care unit

• Communicate with residents, families, and nursing staff to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Active NJ Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)

• Nursing home experience required — must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting

• Ventilator (vent) experience preferred
