Plant Accountant

Summary: The Plant Accountant will work with the production, finance and project management teams to support all aspects of the Company’s manufacturing financial operation. They will reconcile the inventory accounts and review material usage each month to identify potential issues and resolve, as necessary. They will also reconcile other accounts, prepare journal entries and ad hoc reporting, as necessary. The following skillsets are required: strong written and verbal communications, excellent analytical ability, the ability to effectively multi-task while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude, as well as the ability to consistently meet reporting and month-end close deadlines. Primary Responsibilities: Manage and process all manufacturing memos Process and review material usage for all plants to identify potential issues and resolve as needed. Reconcile inventory and other reconciliations Assist in the review and coding of all plant invoices Assist in managing certain raw material purchase orders Prepare various month end close journal entries All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting is required. Minimum of 3 years accounting experience (preferably in a plant). Experience reconciling inventory. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience reviewing & analyzing G/L transactions and preparing journal entries and reconciliations. Must be meticulous, detail-oriented, and dependable. Ability to handle multiple projects and easily adapt to new and changing situations. Self-Starter with an eagerness to problem solve. Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and works well within teams. Maintain accuracy while working with a large volume of data. #J-18808-Ljbffr AGI
