About the Position

Job Title: RN Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire; Advanced Life Support preferred Must-Have: Experience with multiple modalities (Trauma, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular, Vascular) Description: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement, and document the plan of care. Communicate the patient's condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Perform, set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Must be able to respond within 30 minutes during call shifts. BLS and ACLS certification required.
