As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Shawnee, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support people first, work as part of a dependable team, and bring integrity, agility, and innovation to each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity in accordance with site policies.
• Support healthcare location operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation when appropriate, and timely reporting of hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
