Lab CrusherDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Lab Crushers for a mining and materials testing company in Hibbing, MN. In this role, you'll help prepare core and rock samples for laboratory testing while supporting quality analysis processes in a safety-focused environment. Read below for more information!Operate crushing, screening, and sample preparation equipmentProcess core, rock, ore, and aggregate samples into testable sizes for laboratory analysisLabel, organize, and track samples accurately throughout the testing processClean and maintain crushing equipment, laboratory tools, and work areasInspect equipment and report maintenance issues or safety concernsRecord sample information and production data accuratelyAssist with laboratory testing and quality control activities as neededHigh school diploma or GED preferredBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe bootsPrevious mining, aggregate, manufacturing, construction materials, or laboratory experience is helpful but not requiredEntry-level candidates are welcome to applyEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
