Maintenance Technician Aventura at the Bay is seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the facility, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe, comfortable, and attractive environment for residents, visitors, and employees. This position performs routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities throughout the facility. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, systems, and buildings. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues. Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules. Maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs. Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance concerns. Assist with painting, carpentry, and general building repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies. Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records. Assist with facility projects and renovations as needed. Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience in healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required.
