Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Location: New York, NY Job Type: Locum Tenens Contract Pay Rate: $220/hour + $50 transportation reimbursement per worked day Schedule: Monday–Friday, Flexible 10- or 12-Hour Shifts Assignment: 13 Weeks | Potential Extension Available About the Opportunity We are partnering with a hospital-based healthcare organization seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CRNA seeking flexible weekday scheduling, consistent coverage, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model. The ideal provider will have strong general anesthesia experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to provide safe, efficient anesthesia care in a fast-paced procedural environment. Position Summary The CRNA will provide anesthesia services within a hospital-based practice, supporting a variety of general anesthesia cases and out-of-operating-room procedures. The assignment offers flexible scheduling options, no call requirements, and the potential for an extension following the initial 13-week commitment. Key Responsibilities Provide safe and effective anesthesia care for assigned patients. Complete pre-anesthesia assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans. Administer anesthesia for diagnostic and procedural cases. Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Collaborate with physicians and the anesthesia care team to ensure quality patient outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR. Follow all clinical, safety, and compliance standards. Provide coverage at affiliated hospital locations within the same health system as needed. Assignment begins 11/01/26 . 13-week locum tenens assignment with potential extension. 3x12-hour shifts per week 4x10-hour shifts per week Available shift times include:

7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

7:0 AM – 5:30 PM

30-minute meal break deduction per shift. Minimum commitment of 6–7 shifts per month . Must be available to work either Monday or Friday each week. Must be flexible to provide coverage at affiliated hospital locations within the same health system. No call requirements. Epic EMR. Case Mix Providers will support a variety of general anesthesia cases, including: Out-of-operating-room anesthesia (OR) locations Liver OB Spinal and epidural procedures may be performed. Anesthesia support is available for providers who do not routinely perform these procedures. Qualifications Active New York State CRNA license. Board Certified CRNA. Active DEA. Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience. Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills. Clean professional background required. Flu and COVID vaccination required. Current CV required in company format, including month/year dates and explanations for any employment gaps.
