What You'll Do (Essential Functions) Patient Welcome: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage the check-in/check-out process, and provide an exceptional customer service experience. Scheduling: Efficiently manage the appointment book to maximize production, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate recall appointments. Insurance Verification: Verify dental insurance benefits, submit claims, and accurately update patient records. Financial Coordination: Discuss treatment plans, present cost estimates, collect copays, and assist patients with payment arrangements. Administrative Support: Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient emails, and maintain a clean, organized reception area. Qualifications & Skills Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required). Experience: 1–2 years of experience working at a dental front desk or medical front office (Preferred). Software: Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft) is a major plus. Attributes: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
