In this role you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.71 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Sunday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and/or parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns through proper channels. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
