Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Deliver therapy to help patients improve independence in daily living skills
• Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in line with practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for the best patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all safety, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)
• Active Florida OT license or the ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• A passion for helping others regain independence and quality of life

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• COTA supervision
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
