Director Of Business Development / Senior Living Job Locations US-PA-KING OF PRUSSIA US-PA-PITTSBURGH US-PA-HARRISBURG US-PA-ALLENTOWN US-PA-PHILADELPHIA Position Type Full-Time Line of Business PharMerica Overview Director of Business Development role leads business development efforts for PharMerica Senior Living by driving customer acquisition strategies in the Assisted Living market and advancing growth within this segment. Working under the Associate Vice President, the position partners with crossfunctional teams to roll-out growth initiatives, execute sales plans, and support the organization's broader revenue objectives. The strongest candidates bring B2B sales experience along with a background in Senior Living or LongTerm Care. Deep industry insight, proven sales strategy skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with executivelevel leaders are essential. This is a remote position with 65% travel. We're open to applicants residing in the following territories PA/NY/NJ/DE. Provides guidance, training, and support to the Business Development Associate (BDA), fostering a cohesive approach to maximize sales strategies and growth initiatives. Collaborates cross-functionally to implement growth initiatives and ensure seamless new business implementation aligned with client management plans within Assisted Living chains. Maintains and updates CRM databases with Assisted Living chain profiling information, competitive data, and strategic planning details for these clients. Acts as a liaison between the inside sales team and regional client managers, facilitating smooth transitions and start-ups for new Assisted Living chain clients. Drives continuous improvement by reviewing client feedback, identifying areas for growth, and implementing strategies for consistent business development within the Senior Living sector. Works with industry data sets to identify profitable assisted living chain targets. Assists with other projects as assigned by AVP. Qualifications Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in a direct B2B sales position. At least 2 years of experience managing pipeline forecasting or account management in the senior living or LTC space. At least 2 years of experience in cross functional/collaborative team environment. Basic Qualifications Experience in LTC B2B sales, new sales pipeline management, upselling/same store growth, client management, and retention. Demonstrates success with meeting financial/revenue goals and objectives. Experience with LTC service offerings and competitive landscape of the LTC pharmacy space. Experience planning organizing, developing, implementing, collaborating on, and executing marketing and sales campaigns. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, CRM proficiency, sales acumen, and a track record of successful client management. Strong presentation skills Basic level skill in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Essential Functions Performs other tasks as assigned.
