• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health status, ensuring that diagnoses align with DSM-5 criteria.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that not only address addiction but also incorporate interventions for underlying mental health conditions.

• Facilitate high-quality individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care, sharing insights on client progress and treatment adjustements during regular team meetings.

• Engage and educate clients' family members, encouraging their active participation in the recovery process to foster a supportive home environment.

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of client interactions and treatment updates, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

This role primarily supports adults struggling with various forms of substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health issues.
