Client Relationship Consultant 1 (Banker) - Livermore, CA

Responsibilities Build and maintain client relationships across in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, gather account information, and educate clients on available deposit and loan products. Recommend solutions that align with each customer’s unique goals and financial needs. Engage proactively with clients, follow up, and learn about their financial situations and channel preferences. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Collaborate with branch team members and partners to serve clients most effectively. Educate clients on emerging digital products and self‑service technologies to meet their financial needs. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and achieve operational excellence and accuracy. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; typically one to two years of retail banking experience or equivalent training. Preferred Skills and Experience: Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up; effective client engagement and communication; basic knowledge of bank and branch policies and systems; strong customer service and interpersonal skills; experience with digital products and self‑service technologies; ability to identify client needs using a digital‑first mindset; basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations; experience in the financial services industry preferred. Location This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.
