Leather Technician & Weaver in Training
$25 - $35 per hourLance Woven Leather
We are seeking a Leather Preparer and Weaver in Training to join our production team. This is a hands-on, on-site role for an emerging craftsperson who will learn how to prepare hides for weaving, dress, and weave by hand, on a 16+ harness loom.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Respectfully handle and care for leather
- Learn the mechanical operations of, and maintain Italian machinery
- Split, skive, and strip skins, with precision in preparation for weaving
- Collaborate with our team to meet design requirements, and production timelines
- Master the art of weaving
PLEASE HAVE
- Very strong character references
- Very strong professional or academic references, indicating the highest degree of reliability
Salary/Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
