SENIOR DATA ENGINEER - Hybrid Role A fast-growing and highly successful consumer financial services company based in Plano, TX 75024, is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their expanding Corporate Reporting & Analytics team. They are seeking a driven individual with a passion for data engineering, analytics, and problem-solving who is ready to take ownership, mentor others, and drive data strategy at scale. ABOUT YOU • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field. •Experience in data engineering or related roles. •Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. •Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. •Passionate about designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows. •Motivated to continuously learn new tools, technologies, and best practices. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED 3-9+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Strong Python expertise, including building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with large datasets. Hands-on experience with SQL (preferably MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL). Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Superset, matplotlib, or Plotly. Experience with cloud platforms. Bonus: Experience with Salesforce or marketing data (preferred but not required). Experience building interactive data applications using Plotly Dash or Dash Enterprise.
