What You'll Do:

• Deliver expert nursing care in the operating room setting, following established protocols and standards
• Assist in preparing patients for surgery and monitor accordingly before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA standards
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records
• Support the unit's goals by exhibiting professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing education

What You Need:

• Current RN License in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Previous OR nursing experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
