HSE Specialist

HSE Specialist Location: Lebanon, Indiana Pay Range: $45-50/HR Reference Number: 397321 Job Overview You will be part of the Environmental Support Department, supporting site start‑up, commissioning, and operational readiness activities. Responsibilities Provide hands‑on environmental compliance support during site start‑up, commissioning, and qualification activities. Perform routine environmental inspections and verify controls are in place and effective during critical activities. Support investigations of environmental deviations and incidents, including fact gathering and root‑cause analysis. Assist in developing and tracking corrective and preventive actions to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain inspection‑ready environmental documentation and support regulatory inspections and internal reviews. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting EPA and state environmental programs in a manufacturing setting. Hands‑on experience with waste management, wastewater and stormwater controls, and air permitting. Proven ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations in a practical, field‑based environment. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
