Position Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care and developing individualized care plans. The role requires assessing patient conditions, administering treatments and medications, and monitoring outcomes. Collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families is essential to ensure quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care while developing and implementing personalized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and provide medications as directed.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and healthcare teams to safeguard quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, health counseling, and assist in discharge planning.
• Recognize and respond to patient complications and changes in condition effectively.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care.
• Ensure patient safety, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience in delivering patient-centered care while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and adherence to professional nursing standards.

Additional Details

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5, with flexibility to accommodate up to 1:6, caring for patients at varying levels of care from therapy to PCU. The position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week on the day shift (7 AM - 7 PM), including every other weekend and no call or holiday shifts.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis is preferred, though training is available.
• HARP/CPI certification is advantageous, with training provided if necessary.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
