Position Summary:We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient-only primary care on a per diem basis. The physician will manage a panel of adult patients in a clinic setting, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and treatment of acute, non-emergent conditions. This flexible, non-continuous role is ideal for physicians who are looking to work on an as-needed basis with no inpatient or on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to adults (18+ years) in an outpatient clinic setting.• Perform routine health screenings, physical exams, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with specialists when needed.• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.• Utilize EMR to document visits accurately and in a timely manner.• Educate patients on preventive care, health maintenance, and self-management of chronic conditions.• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, and administrative staff to optimize patient care.• Adhere to clinic policies, evidence-based practice guidelines, and quality initiatives.• Provide coverage during provider absences, high-volume periods, or for specific clinic days as scheduled.

Qualifications:• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.

• Valid, unrestricted medical license in Florida.• Current DEA registration and state-controlled substance license (if applicable).• Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred.• Commitment to providing equitable, patient-centered care.• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule & Expectations:• Per diem (as-needed); flexible schedule based on clinic needs and provider availability.• No hospital, inpatient, or after-hours call responsibilities.• Availability for coverage during provider PTO, sick leave, or increased patient demand is preferred.
