Lead Teller

Position Overview As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in the Cape May Court House branch at 1 Court House, South Dennis Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. The role focuses on delivering a unique customer experience, guiding tellers, and driving customer financial wellbeing. Responsibilities Coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example in providing exceptional customer service. Process a variety of customer interactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan inquiries. Educate customers on available financial products and alternatives, and identify banking opportunities during interactions. Make appropriate referrals to branch staff and execute lobby engagement activities to connect with customers. Communicate clearly, handle transactions accurately, and resolve problems following established procedures. Assist the Branch Manager with performance management and new‑hire selection processes. Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Qualifications 1+ year related experience or comparable combination of education, training, certification, and at least high school diploma or GED. Knowledge of banking operations, customer service, and regulatory compliance. Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to lead by example. Proficiency in using banking technology and tools. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction handling. Pay & Benefits Base Salary: $44,720.00 – $57,200.00. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
