JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, AOA)
• Licenses: Active TN License, Active DEA with TN address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS (Schedules II-V) required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not BC in EM), NRP (if non-ABEM)
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine; new graduates considered
• Other Qualifications: Supervise NPs/PAs, case logs past 2 years, Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME, ECFMG if IMG

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine services in a Level II Trauma Center with 47,000 annual visits.
• Supervise and direct the work of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Manage acute medical, surgical, and trauma cases.
• Maintain active licensure, DEA, and required certifications including ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable.
• Comply with all Bristol Regional Medical Center credentialing and privileging requirements, including documentation of case logs and CME.
