More than 3,500 employees, 400 multi-specialty physicians, and over 100 volunteers have helped to support the hospital in delivering quality, patient-focused care to the Texoma region for over 50 years.The Medical Assistant - Urgent Care Denison, TX position is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties, which include: assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician; interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height); venipuncture; and procedures as directed by the physician within the scope of practice in the state. Recording documentation in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guidelines. Preparing treatment rooms for the examination of patients.
