The Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant reports directly to the Controller and works closely with the Finance team to perform a broad range of accounting functions. Responsibilities include accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset management, financial reporting, audit support, financial analysis, and other ad hoc assignments as needed. This role requires a highly detail-oriented and organized professional with the ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.

ESSENTIAL DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Record accounting transactions and prepare journal entries with complete and accurate supporting documentation.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, balance sheet, and general ledger accounts; research and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support monthly and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, schedules, and variance analysis.
• Support accounts payable activities, including invoice review, vendor account reconciliation, and resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including billing, cash application, customer account reconciliation, and payment follow-up as assigned.
• Maintain fixed asset records and related schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciation support.
• Prepare recurring reports and ad hoc financial analysis requested by the Controller or management.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation for internal review, audit, and compliance purposes.
• Follow Lions Floor's accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable U.S. GAAP requirements.
• Assist with accounting process improvements and system or procedure updates as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain information and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
  

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
• 2–3 years of experience required at the same level preferred.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and communicate effectively.
• Professional maturity and consistent, reliable work ethic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system preferred.
• Mandarin language proficiency preferred.
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and occasionally.
• Combination of field and office environment.
• May necessitate working in busy and loud environments.
• May be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise, and odor.
• This is not a work-from-home position.
