Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves working in a dynamic surgical environment with rotating shifts, including days and on-call responsibilities. The role requires a skilled and adaptable registered nurse to provide perioperative patient care within a busy hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, rotating 2x8 and 2x12 shifts (07:00-15:30 / 07:00-19:30), with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience as an OR nurse, active Maryland or Compact RN license, BLS certification; CNOR certification preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous trauma experience, community hospital experience, familiarity with Epic charting system; trauma Level II experience preferred
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty and peri-operative, including pre-op/PACU as needed
• Additional Information:
  • Minimum of 1 weekend per month; holidays as scheduled
  • 60 orientation hours required before assignment begins
  • On-call commitment of 36 hours per 6-week schedule cycle
  • Total beds: 9, total rooms: 9
  • Candidate must be comfortable floating across peri-operative units without restrictions
