This contract opportunity is ideal for an OT who is passionate about supporting young students, especially those with diverse learning profiles, while a current therapist is on leave. You'll enjoy a consistent daytime schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM each day, working as a valued member of a welcoming and collaborative school community.

Your work will focus on delivering high-quality occupational therapy to students, including those in Life Skills and Autistic Support programs. This assignment runs through January 4, 2027, giving you the chance to develop strong relationships with both staff and students during a meaningful stretch of the school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Pennsylvania
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Background working with elementary-aged children
• Familiarity with programs for complex learners including Life Skills and Autism Support is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete student screenings, particularly those referred by the Child Study Team (CST)
• Conduct OT-only evaluations and create initial 504 plans
• Provide direct therapy services for a range of needs
• Deliver sessions for Life Skills and Autistic Support programs
• Work on make-up sessions to ensure all students receive their required services
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking
