Step into a vital role specializing in Interventional Radiology, providing advanced imaging support critical to patient care for a dedicated healthcare facility. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to carry out diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, playing an important part in facilitating excellent patient outcomes.


Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00am to 7:00pm
• Weekend position with on-call and callback requirements
• Holiday coverage required
• Floating to related departments as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current ARRT Registration in Radiography and corresponding IR modality required
• State licensure or certification as applicable
• Previous experience as an IR Tech strongly preferred
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique, radiation safety, and infection control standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Flexibility to float to other imaging areas when necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality for diagnostic purposes
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver responsive and coordinated care
• Respond to call-back requests and participate in the required weekend and holiday rotation
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Adhere to all regulatory, facility, and infection prevention protocols
