Patient Access Manager
Pafford Emergency Medical Services
Essential Functions:1Assists in maximizing utilization of resources.2Provides training, orientation, and education of department staff to assist in maintaining staff'scompetency and to meet changes of healthcare reimbursement.3Assists with development and maintenance of a system to ensure timely and accurateregistration and data collection.4Responds to written and verbal inquiries or complaints from patients to ensure expedient and tactfulresolutions.Secondary Functions: All other duties required by Senior ManagementQUALIFICATIONS:Education/Skills:High school graduate or GED. Excellent computer and keyboard skills with appropriateapplications. Ability to solve problems and to communicate effectively.NIMS training within (3) months. COAP within 3 months.Licensure:NoneExperience:A minimum of two (2) years hospital Patient Access, Business Services,or related experience.
