Position Summary Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all patients and visitors. Perform laundry services and help ensure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, with an adequate supply of linens and other supplies related to cleaning and laundry are always on hand to best meet the needs of patients/residents. Qualifications Desire to maintain clean and safe work environment Ability to take direction and follow through in a professional manner Excellent customer service skills Must be able to operate standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mops, brooms, etc.) Outstanding customer service and a kind communication style Responsibilities Perform day to day laundry duties including collecting, sorting, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing as needed Proven customer service skills – ability to remain kind and professional towards everyone at work Ability to work collaboratively and independently Job duties require you to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during through the workday Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor.
